School Council

The school council is an elected group of children comprising a representative from each class, plus three officers from Year 6 who represent the views of the school council and bring them to the head teacher and then return the feedback from that meeting to the council.

The school council meets weekly and matters affecting the whole school are discussed, such as playtime rules, behaviour, improvements to the premises, fund raising and community links. The head teacher meets the officers every fortnight to discuss any issues.

The school places a great deal of importance on 'pupil voice' and all children are strongly encouraged to volunteer to be elected.
